On boarding information

Built and helped design an on boarding survey to gather information to facilitate a PI's move to Vanderbilt University. It was a multi-instrument survey with branching logic and styled with HTML and CSS. The survey was built with REDCap (Research Electronic Data Capture). Answers on the first survey would trigger additional modules there were a total of eleven modules.

    Languages and Methods used.
  1. HTML
  2. CSS
  3. Trello
  4. Wireframe flow charts
  5. In person user demos

Software Survey

Created a REDCap survey to gauge customer satisfaction of software used to schedule time on equipment and how well the equipment and staff worked. Biggest Challenge: Stakeholder wanted individual answers for each piece of equipment. The software would not create this dynamically. I devised a process to build this using the software capabilities. I used their built-in copy function to duplicate questions, then edited the branching logic to show only when a user selected a particular machine.

Documentation

Created documentation on all projects with Word and Confluence. Tracked what we did and why we made some choices. Listed other options, took screen shots. Created a variables list that told where a variable was used and its purpose.

Jira ServiceDesk

Created customer requests with Jira ServiceDesk Cloud. Styled instructions with markup, CSS, HTML. Styled customer portal. Wrote user instructions. Discussed process with stakeholders
